One Day Closer To Move In

Back in Brantley today for the very LAST workday before the full move-in! Woo Hoo. We couldn’t be more excited.

The fireplace wall that no one believed we really had a plan for came rapidly together today. The cabinet crew did an amazing job of executing my vision for the concealed TV.

The Tv is recessed into the wall so that it is flush with the face. The doors are then double hinged with concealed brackets and fold all the way back flat against the side walls. The opening around the firebox will be the same product that is on the floor for a seamless transition.

The custom limestone fireplace is so pretty against the grasscloth and that yummy dark trim. If you are curious it is Benjamin Moore’s Dragon’s Breath. (hate the name)

The home owner commented over and over about how she couldn’t believe the difference custom draperies make in how the room “feels”. And how about that gorg light!!!

Next, we brought in a tiny little mirror to see what would happen. Don’t you love how I say WE brought it in. Thanks Bob and Steve.

Whole lotta drama going on.

After at least 15 years of not using wallpaper we had a ball with it. How beautiful is this bathroom?

I used a soft blue-green grasscloth in the master bedroom. Can you see how it feeds into the bath and then into the laundry?

Orange polka-dot ceiling anyone? Why yes, please. I think I will. Laundry rooms really NEED to have a fun factor, right?

Can’t wait to see a blazing fire out here. (More trees going in. See last post here.)

Today is our last shopping/gathering day before moving trucks start rolling. Wish us luck and don’t miss it!
