We are about to start on a couple of major kitchen and bath renovations and it suddenly occurred to me how many people are involved in that process and how overwhelming it could be to someone who doesn’t do it every day. We have been shopping, shopping, shopping and after months of dreaming and scheming have finally filled in the blanks on many of the rooms for our scheduled March move-in. The following is a snippet of what was ordered last week. I will be writing more and more about this in the following 8 weeks.
Just when I thought I didn’t have a thing to write about today THIS amazing surprise pops up in my in-box and I to stop and do a little amazed happy dance.

We will spend the first day at ADAC which is the high end market for designers. This is where my fabric showroom is: Travis and Company.

I can’t share much with you and I really cannot stand that I have to wait a whole year to see these pictures but let me just say that you don’t want to miss the Christmas issue of Southern Lady Magazine next year. These photographers are Santa Claus to me as they deliver one great shot after another. Thank you John O’Hagan, Mac Jamieson, Stephanie Welbourne and Marcy Black Simpson. You are a dream to work with.
Here is a little sneak peek at what we have been up to for the past week. Oh, and NONE of these shots are by the above mentioned folks. LOL
