Yes, I have been AWOL. I apologize. It would seem that everyone that I know  was in Europe last week. Except for me that is.

My sweet daughter and son-in-law were on a much deserved 10 day tour of Italy. I still haven’t heard all of the stories and can’t wait.

So what, you ask, was I up to while all of this world travel was taking place?

I did a bit of traveling myself and, yes, congratulations are in order.

I survived my first solo 3 hour road trip with a two year old and a three year old.

They were actually very good except for the last 45 minutes when I threw all rules out the window and ignored the fact that she was writing all over her body with a black marker. Hey, she was quiet! We held “Gigi Camp” at my Daddy’s this year adding, in the process, 4 more children to the mix. Yep. You heard me right. 6 kiddos for 7 days. Now you know why I was AWOL. Any extra moment I could  find I was SLEEPING.

The arts and crafts this year were a major hit. Ask me, I will share. And thank you Pinterest for your input. It was awesome.

We celebrated June birthdays.

And ate Daddy out of house and home… at least they did. The adults didn’t have time to eat.
