Just because I am longing for sunshine, I found myself staring at these images and imagining parties that involve good friends, lots of family, smokin’ grills, fresh fruit and a long, lazy summer evening.

A friend/client of mine once had a swimming pool built in her backyard with a black liner. It served as a reflecting pool and was beautiful at night as it reflected the image of her beautiful Tudor home but I could never enjoy a swim for worrying about snakes. I would not survive in a sea of lily pads!
