If you read the last post you know that on Tuesday we were preparing for a full house move in and reveal for family number 1.
Well on Wednesday we loaded up the van and headed south to the beautiful Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida.
When we see this sign we know that we are “home” for the next few days.
It was so good to make the turn onto this majestic drive knowing that we would soon be back in the home of dear friends and clients who have afforded us the opportunity of working with them on several projects over the years.
I had to walk around for a few minutes to see how things looked from the last install before we started on today’s mission. This has been such an enjoyable project. The youngest child calls me “my Cindy” which melts my heart. Sweet Edith can have anything she wants from me.
The early morning light flooding through the windows gave this room a magical quality. I always create an original work of art for this family.
Their son loved the insect collection that we found for him.
One of my all time favorite kitchen renovations.
Enough of the reminiscing, we have work to do!
Actually, Jeff had most of the heavy lifting this trip as he spent the better part of a day hanging walls of art. Good thing he likes math!
Hey Natalie Stanley! Your art looks fab Girl. Keep it coming.
Didn’t Jeff do a great job? I think I’ll keep that guy.
Living room finished. Now it’s off to the staircase. Yikes!
I LOVE how the animal print runner turned out! Now for a little bling with a mirror collection.
The foyer art is a custom Cindy Barganier Textiles made just for them and stretched as art.
And that’s a wrap Folks. We pulled out of Sawgrass and headed home for the next leg – a
full house drapery install but not before a few hours of fun.
The last several trips did not allow for any time to explore. That was not going to happen again. Grab your golfing buddies, they are going to love this next part. That’s right, the club at TPC (The Players Championship) famous PGA tour site.
The lobby walls are covered with paintings like this depicting the scenes that Sawgrass is famous for.
There are cool pictures of the Royals Of Golf everywhere you look.
This is actually the back yard of my client’s home. It sits on one of the fairways. Michael Phelps played the course one day and the children, recognizing him, ran out to get an autograph. I need to ask them how many other autographs they have collected.
This is the stunning Beach Club founded in the early 1920’s. It is exactly what you would hope it would be. We were going to splurge and experience it but there was no room in the inn. Sad. The original building backs up to the canal and golf course and is adjacent to a sea of tennis courts. The Surf Club is directly across the street and sits right on the Atlantic Ocean. My jaw dropped as we drove the beach road. There is no public access and I promise every house mansion looked like “that house” in “that” Jack Nicholson movie. No lie. I seriously wanted to ring door bells and ask for a private tour.
Well, I hate to cut it short but this Chick needs some shut eye. Exciting news coming soon. shhhhh
