It is hard to believe but we are already on our second season with Travis and Co. Showrooms in Atlanta so we have been in overdrive painting, designing, running strike-offs, tweaking and re-running until we felt that we had the new fabrics just right.
Then it was time to print all of the yardage. Then, you know what comes next…. sewing samples.
The sewing week always feels like we are back in college pulling all nighters.
Why was it sooooo much easier back then to pull all nighters? LOL
I know. Don’t answer that question.
At any rate, we ended up adding 10 new patterns and we are thrilled with all of them.
I took one look at this picture and said, “Tired!” Yep, it kind of shows. But it was a good tired.
A wildly happy thing happened during the production of this season’s line. I was up against a major time crunch and there simply wasn’t enough of me to go around so Jeff decided that he was going to try his hand at doing some paintings. (Each fabric starts out as a painting and I then take that image to the computer for the actual design work.)
The stinker has been holding out on me!!!
Four of the final ten patterns that made the cut are from his original art!
How totally cool is that?
He is so proud.
Aren’t they beauties? I have told him for years that he missed his calling. Those Barganier genes are just full of creativity. He should have been an architect like Jim.
So sit back and enjoy the line. We would love to know what you think–good or bad. It is input from you that helps us to grow and get better every year.
Thanks for reading! I appreciate you.
