Just when I thought I didn’t have a thing to write about today THIS amazing surprise pops up in my in-box and I to stop and do a little amazed happy dance.
My Design Chic (which received an award for one of the best blogs at The Blogger’s Conference year before last) featured one of MY houses today on their blog!!! I am beyond thrilled. Thank you Kristy and Beth.
Featured is one of my all time favorite houses in my 30 years of designing. It was the first concierge project that we were allowed to do and it went on to win an AIA award. (Thank you Reece and Elizabeth for trusting us that much.) I custom designed each piece of upholstery, the coffee table and painted the art on the walls. It is not a stretch to say that house has a piece of me in it. We always said we had the dream team working on that one with architect Geoff Chic, builder John Brown, drapery workroom extraordinaire Rose of Sharon, decorative painter Marilyn Heard and a dedicated team of talented friends who moved in with us that last weekend to make the magic happen. You know who you are and I love you to pieces. Not sure what a concierge project is? Come back later this week and I will explain what that is and how it works.
But for NOW…… yippee
It’s cold, cold, cold here in NC! So, today seemed like the perfect day to tour a gorgeous Florida home that just happens to be designed by one of our fabulous friends: Cindy Barganier Interiors! We’re channeling the warm weather. How about you?
